This policy explains what we collect when you use TechInterviewNotes, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Account details: name and email address when you register (or the profile shared by Google sign-in).
Order details: product purchased, amount, order and payment identifiers issued by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or banking credentials — payment is processed entirely by Razorpay.
Usage data: pages viewed, mock-test attempts and scores, and device/browser information used to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, deliver purchased content, and show your mock-test history.
To send transactional email such as verification links, password resets and payment receipts.
To understand aggregate usage and improve notes, question banks and mock tests.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Third parties we rely on
Razorpay for payment processing (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy).
Google for optional sign-in.
Cloud hosting and analytics providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
Storage & security
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit.
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; sessions use short-lived signed tokens.
We retain account and order records as long as your account is active or as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
Your choices
Google Analytics is optional and stays disabled until you choose Allow analytics. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie choices in the site footer.
You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@techinterviewnotes.com from your registered address.
Deleting your account removes personal data except records we must keep for legal and accounting purposes.
